Andy Burnham has become Britain's new Prime Minister, reshuffling his cabinet to bring Mahmood, Miliband, and Healey into his top team. Departing the government are Rachel Reeves, David Lammy, and Peter Kyle. Burnham has called his arrival in power a circuit breaker moment for the UK. As he headed to Buckingham Palace to form his government, The Guardian reports, protesters were gathering on Whitehall to oppose the proposed Rosebank oil field development in the North Sea.
