A prison manuscript maps the periodic table onto Tarot and the zodiac

According to Boing Boing, Timothy Leary and Robert Anton Wilson did something unusual while imprisoned at California's Vacaville Prison: in May nineteen seventy-four, they co-authored 'The Periodic Table of Energy,' a manuscript that mapped the periodic table, Leary's neurogenetic theory of evolution, Tarot, the I Ching, and the zodiac. The idea was to fold chemistry and mysticism into a single system of correspondences.
