Trump says Benjamin Netanyahu ‘will not be arrested’ if he visits the US

Per The Guardian, President Donald Trump says Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu "will not be arrested" if he visits the United States. Netanyahu is the subject of an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court over alleged war crimes in Gaza. Trump's comments came days after New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani said he was exploring whether his administration could arrest Netanyahu should the prime minister visit the city during the UN General Assembly in September.
