Maximum temperatures at Mount Hotham and Falls Creek ran up to twelve degrees Celsius above average, with both resorts setting new July records for their hottest daytime and nighttime temperatures, the Bureau of Meteorology confirms. Thredbo similarly recorded its hottest July day on record.
