Bay Area city manager charged for allegedly breaking into 66ft yacht while drinking

Sausalito's city manager is facing misdemeanor charges after an unusual incident. The Guardian reports that Elaine Forbes was arrested following a noise disturbance call, during which police found her aboard a 66-foot, three-story yacht that she had allegedly broken into while drinking. Forbes now faces charges related to the break-in and alleged attempted theft of the vessel.
