Drone ‘debris’ strikes apartment buildings and oil depot in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai

world

Falling drone debris damaged apartment buildings in the Russian city of Krasnodar and private homes in the nearby Dinskoy district, Meduza reports, citing the region's operational headquarters, which said preliminary information indicated no casualties there. In the city of Armavir, a drone strike set fire to an oil depot in the Northern Industrial Zone, with flames spreading across roughly eight hundred square meters. Krasnodar Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said one depot employee was killed. Armavir officials described the overnight assault as one of the largest they have seen. Oil infrastructure across Russian regions has been a primary target of Ukrainian drones in recent months, contributing to a nationwide fuel crisis.
