Fast-moving wildfire in southern France forces hundreds to flee

RFI English reports that a fast-moving wildfire in France's Var department has forced four hundred people from their homes and burned more than two thousand five hundred hectares. It is the latest in a string of blazes after three heatwaves since early June, RFI English says. The Var sits on France's Mediterranean coast, a region long prone to summer wildfires.
