Nolan Wells’s autopsy inconclusive as family presses for answers in teen’s death

An independent autopsy has not resolved how Nolan Wells died. The eighteen-year-old college freshman was found dead nearly three weeks ago, and the exam listed both his cause of death and the manner of death as undetermined, pending investigation. Those results were announced on Wednesday by Ben Crump, the attorney for Wells's family, the Guardian's world desk reports. Wells, who was Black, has a family that is questioning the timeline of events around his death. With the autopsy inconclusive, the case remains under investigation and the family is still pressing for answers.
