A Linux utility to control USB power per-port on smart USB hubs

Adafruit Blog is reporting on uhubctl, a new Linux utility that controls power to individual USB hub ports. The tool targets smart hubs that support per-port power switching—useful for testing hardware configurations and managing power consumption. Many common hubs are compatible, including several Raspberry Pi models, though you'll need to configure USB permissions on Linux to run the utility without using sudo.
