Worlds Largest Pop-Up Book

Adafruit Blog is reporting on Luceros y Penumbras, a pop-up book that's just earned a Guinness World Record as the world's largest. Now on display at Los Angeles' Richard J. Riordan Central Library, it stretches thirty-one feet wide and twenty feet tall when opened, with pop-ups rising more than eleven feet high. The whole thing weighs over eighteen hundred pounds and is constructed entirely from traditional bookmaking materials: paper, adhesive, and fabric. Here's the catch: turning each page requires a full team, and they have to be careful not to get crushed.
