entertainment
An executive from Interscope Records testified Wednesday that the singer D4vd, born David Anthony Burke, held a multi-million-dollar recording deal, per The Guardian. Prosecutors are using those figures to argue the musician had a financial motivation to kill Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The testimony came on the second day of a hearing to determine whether there is probable cause for Burke to stand trial on charges of murder and sexual abuse. That ruling will decide whether the case proceeds to trial.
