Hyundai claims humanoid robot plan is not part of talks with striking workers

Per Ars Technica, Hyundai Motor is disputing reports linking its humanoid robot plans to labor strikes at the world's largest automotive plant in South Korea. The company plans to deploy humanoid robots starting in twenty twenty-eight, but says this isn't fueling current labor action. Instead, union workers are focused on compensation demands: wage increases, bonuses, and extended retirement benefits. Hyundai maintains the robot plans and labor talks are separate.
