EU gives conditional green light to Paramount's Warner Bros. Discovery deal

Per Euronews, the European Union has given conditional approval to Paramount's bid for Warner Bros. Discovery, an entertainment and streaming conglomerate. However, a California federal judge has ordered the companies to temporarily halt their merger this week, creating a significant obstacle to completing the deal.
