Texas Republicans unite behind Iran war funding as U.S. House passes $95 billion spending package

The Texas Tribune reports the U.S. House passed a ninety-five billion dollar spending package Wednesday that includes Iran war funding, backed by Texas Republicans with support from Democrats Vicente Gonzalez and Henry Cuellar. The House also advanced a separate bill banning members of Congress from trading stocks and implementing new voter ID requirements.
