Singapore’s core inflation rises to 1.6% in June, driven by higher prices of food, retail goods and services

Channel NewsAsia reported on Thursday that food, retail goods, and services drove Singapore's core inflation to one point six percent in June. Higher global energy costs from April through mid-June will show up in regulated electricity tariffs starting in July, the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Ministry of Trade and Industry say.
