DRC's Ebola outbreak kills more than 1,000, with children hit hardest

An Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda has now killed more than one thousand people, with children bearing the heaviest toll. RFI English reports that the World Health Organization put the death toll above one thousand thirty on Wednesday, with confirmed cases in the DRC surpassing two thousand five hundred thirty. The outbreak was first declared in May.
