India's 'Cockroach' movement spreads to Mumbai after violence in New Delhi

France 24 reports that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has broken his silence on the student protest movement known as the 'Cockroach Janta Party.' According to France 24, the demonstrations have spread from the capital, New Delhi, to other major cities, including Mumbai and Bengaluru. Clashes between protesters and police have been reported in several of those cities.
