Channel NewsAsia reports that Singapore's Ministry of Manpower has arrested fourteen people in connection with suspected employment fraud involving migrant workers. The investigation centers on four company directors accused of inflating foreign worker quotas and making fraudulent contributions to the Central Provident Fund—Singapore's pension system—for one hundred thirty-nine phantom workers.
