Oil price passes $100 a barrel again as Middle East conflict escalates

Oil prices have climbed above one hundred dollars a barrel for the first time in two months, The Guardian reports. On Thursday, the benchmark rose sharply over fears that Yemen's Houthi militia could disrupt Saudi oil exports through the Red Sea, while US-Iran tensions over the Strait of Hormuz threaten to further strain global supply.
