How shipping insurance rates are rising, as Hormuz, Bab al-Mandeb shut down

Two of the world's most critical shipping chokepoints—the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandeb—have shut down. Per Al Jazeera, maritime insurance rates have spiked in response, with rates through Hormuz now four times their five-year average.
