Kazakhstan temporarily cuts oil production after Ukrainian attacks on Russian Black Sea port

Kazakhstan has temporarily cut oil production after suspending loading operations at a major port facility in Russia, Meduza reports. Ukrainian drone strikes on tankers at the Caspian Pipeline Consortium terminal in Novorossiysk prompted the suspension to ensure vessel safety. The consortium includes some of the region's largest energy companies from Russia, the United States, Kazakhstan, and Western Europe. The port has also banned nighttime vessel traffic in response to the ongoing attacks.
