5.0-magnitude earthquake strikes Texas panhandle

The Texas panhandle was shaken by a magnitude five point zero earthquake on Thursday—the strongest quake to hit the region since nineteen hundred, the Guardian reports. The early-morning temblor struck near Spearman, about sixty-eight miles from Amarillo, according to the U-S Geological Survey. No injuries or deaths were reported.
