The company's founder, Mikal Løvik, spent years in offshore oil and gas operations and noticed that cables designed to prevent equipment from freezing typically run at full power all the time, even when unnecessary. His new venture is developing smarter cable systems that only draw full power when needed, eliminating waste while keeping critical equipment protected in harsh marine environments.
