BBC Buys War Drama ‘Kabul,’ Featuring Eric Dane in One of His Last Roles

The BBC has picked up the thriller series "Kabul," one of the final projects to feature the late actor Eric Dane, Variety reports. Acquired from Mediawan Rights, the six-part drama also stars Shervin Alenabi of "Tehran" and is set against the U.S. military's withdrawal from Afghanistan as the Taliban retook the capital. Per Variety, the series follows the chaotic evacuation of a range of characters, from diplomats and soldiers to civilians caught in the turmoil.
