world

The families of Axel Rudakubana's victims have accused the Southport killer of trying to manipulate the system, The Guardian reports, after it emerged he was transferred from prison to a psychiatric hospital. According to the paper, the move followed a conclusion that he could not be safely managed behind bars. Rudakubana, nineteen, was jailed for life in January last year with a minimum term of fifty-two years for the murders of seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe, six-year-old Bebe King, and nine-year-old Alice da Silva Aguiar.
