According to Variety, filmmaker Eugene Jarecki is partnering with former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to release his Julian Assange documentary, "The Six Billion Dollar Man," through an unusual channel: Bitcoin. With traditional studios and streaming platforms unlikely to distribute the film, Jarecki is calling this a "pre-theatrical digital release" aimed directly at the global Bitcoin community and the general public.
