Variety reports that HBO's upcoming 'Lanterns' unveiled a new trailer at San Diego Comic-Con. The Green Lantern-inspired mystery drama stars Kyle Chandler as veteran Green Lantern Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as John Stewart, a protege learning the ropes. Premiering August sixteenth on HBO, the eight-episode series will feature Hal visiting Sinestro in prison, a Guy Gardner cameo, and a shape-shifting Manhunter on the loose.
