National teacher certification board told to scrub DEI mentions to comply with Texas law

The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards has been instructed to remove diversity, equity, and inclusion language from its certification materials to comply with a Texas state law. The Texas Tribune reports that educators holding the National Board credential face potential exclusion from the state's pay-for-performance teaching program if the board doesn't comply.
