The U.S. Postal Service will not run out of money in two thousand twenty-seven after all. According to the agency's head David Steiner, the projected cash crisis has been pushed back to at least two thousand thirty-one. That's four additional years to stabilize finances—but underlying problems remain. The Postal Service continues to struggle with declining mail volume and rising costs, even as political involvement from Trump administration officials has complicated an already fragile situation.
