Monsoon floods kill at least 41 in India's Assam state

At least forty-one people have been killed by monsoon floods in India's northeastern state of Assam, Euronews reports. Homes and roads are submerged, and rescue operations are still underway as the waters continue to rise. Assam is among the regions hit hardest each year by India's monsoon season.
