‘Lucky Lu’ Leads Winners at MIFFest’s Malaysia Golden Global Awards

Lloyd Lee Choi's 'Lucky Lu,' a joint production from the U.S. and Canada, won best film at the Malaysia Golden Global Awards over the weekend, Variety reports. The prize came at the closing ceremony of the ninth Malaysia International Film Festival, where the jury also recognized filmmakers from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
