New park three times size of Centennial Parklands revealed for Sydney's west

A new national park spanning eleven hundred hectares is being created in Western Sydney, ABC News Australia reports. The park—roughly three times the size of Centennial Parklands—will protect threatened species and provide green space for the region's rapidly-growing population.
