Live: Bordeaux evacuates 55,000 more as fires worsen in France and Spain

More than three hundred thousand people have now fled wildfires burning across France and Spain, France 24 reports, after conditions worsened on Saturday and forced fresh evacuations. Near Bordeaux, fire-generated whirlwinds fueled the blazes, while Spain battled expanding infernos threatening areas near Madrid. Authorities ordered another fifty-five thousand people out and warned of a difficult night ahead.
