Laser Scanning A Cave With Homebrew Gear

According to Hackaday, maker Zoe Skyforest built a homebrew laser scanner to survey the inside of a cave. It's a nimble alternative to traditional surveying gear: instead of hauling heavy equipment underground, the laser scanner maps the space with precision.
