Base Power brings cheap batteries to residents in power-starved PJM
tech
According to Canary Media, startup Base Power is deploying a network of large residential batteries across the PJM Interconnection, which serves sixty-seven million people across thirteen states from the mid-Atlantic to the Midwest. The region has struggled to keep pace with surging energy demand, and these home batteries could help stabilize the grid by storing power at the point of use.
