Joy in Greece as Mount Olympus joins Unesco list of world heritage sites

The Guardian reports that Greece is celebrating: Mount Olympus, the mythical home of the ancient Greek gods, has been added to UNESCO's world heritage list after a twelve-year wait. The designation joins newly listed sites including the D-Day beaches in Normandy and South Sudan's first-ever world heritage site, the Boma-Badingilo landscape.
