Rubio assures Gulf allies US will protect interests in Iran peace talks

According to France 24, Secretary of State Marco Rubio has reassured Gulf allies that the United States will protect their interests as Washington pursues a final agreement with Iran. President Trump says the negotiations are progressing favorably. The administration is requesting eighty-eight billion dollars in additional Pentagon funding following a congressional resolution calling for an end to regional hostilities.
