The Independent Commission Against Corruption has begun hearings into allegations involving a group of young conservative members, known as the 'Reformers,' who sought to shift the party rightward. The Guardian reports that senior Liberal figures, including former Prime Minister Tony Abbott and Alan Jones, supported the group's recruitment efforts. The inquiry, named Operation Rosny, began this week.
