Ukrainian drone hits apartment building in Russia. Two killed, eight injured.

A Ukrainian drone strike hit an apartment building in Rostov-on-Don overnight, killing a husband and wife and injuring five others, including a teenager, according to Rostov Governor Yuri Slyusar. The drones also struck the city's Zheleznodorozhny, Proletarsky, and Leninsky districts, sparking fires at homes, warehouses, and a private enterprise, and shattering windows across several buildings. Meduza reports that residents of the damaged apartment building were evacuated, and separate strikes overnight hit Taganrog and Belgorod, where twelve more people were injured. The attacks are part of the broader wave of long-range drone strikes that have become a regular feature of Ukraine's response to Russia's ongoing invasion.
