France’s interior minister says monster wildfire has stopped growing

A wildfire that forced two hundred twenty thousand people from their homes in southwest France has stopped growing, France's interior minister said Monday. President Emmanuel Macron convened a crisis meeting the same day to review the firefighting effort in the Gironde region and other blazes around the country. The minister cautioned the fire isn't beaten yet, France 24 reports.
