Amazon seeks federal approval to launch 5,105 satellites for direct-to-device network

CNBC reports Amazon is seeking federal approval to launch five thousand one hundred five satellites for a direct-to-device network. The project will partly rely on assets from Globalstar, which Amazon announced plans to acquire in April for eleven point six billion dollars.
