Montenegro will require visas for Russians, Belarusians, and three other nationalities, starting November 1

world

Montenegro will tighten its visa policy starting November 1st, according to Meduza. Russian citizens—along with those from Belarus, China, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia—will need visas to enter the country, a change the government says aligns with European Union standards. Russians holding visas or residency permits from EU or Schengen countries, the United States, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, Australia, or New Zealand are exempt from the new requirement. Until then, Russian travelers can enter visa-free for stays up to thirty days.
