Reuters: Kazakhstan’s oil output more than halves after Ukrainian strikes shut down its main export route

Per Meduza's report, Kazakhstan's daily oil production has plummeted by more than half following Ukrainian strikes on Russia's Caspian Pipeline Consortium terminal in Novorossiysk. Output fell to around one million barrels per day, from a June average of two point one six million barrels. Since more than eighty percent of Kazakhstan's oil exports flow through this pipeline, the disruption dealt a significant blow to one of the world's ten largest oil producers. The terminal has since resumed loading operations.
