2 powerful earthquakes hit Venezuela

Two powerful earthquakes — magnitude seven point two and seven point five — struck west of Caracas on Wednesday, damaging buildings in the capital. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, which issued a red alert, high casualties and extensive damage are probable. This is a developing situation.
