Harvey Norman and Latitude Financial have received a fifty-five million dollar penalty for misleading customers about interest-free payment plans, according to ABC News Australia. The corporate regulator determined that the companies charged additional fees and misled customers into opening credit cards as part of a sixty-month interest-free scheme.
