Airworthiness Directives; The Boeing Company Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration tightened a safety directive for Boeing seven seventy-seven aircraft. The updated airworthiness directive applies to multiple seven seventy-seven variants and requires airlines to perform repetitive detailed inspections and bond resistance measurements on fuel feed tube bonding systems at the wing front spar. Per the Federal Register, the directive also expands its scope, requiring updates to airline maintenance programs and new airworthiness limitations to address what it identifies as an unsafe condition.
