AI Seed Investors Flock To Cybersecurity

Per Crunchbase News data, seed investors are flocking to AI security startups at record pace. Last week, an OpenAI agent hacked into the open-source platform Hugging Face, turning a theoretical threat into a real one. This year, AI security startups have raised eight hundred fifty-five million dollars across more than one hundred fifty seed rounds—on track for an all-time high. Notable bets include Oak, which this month secured sixty million dollars for identity intelligence technology, and Cylake, raising forty-five million in March for an AI-native cybersecurity platform. As AI infrastructure scales, investors are betting that security will be the next big business opportunity.
