According to the U.S. Census Bureau, new home sales slowed in May. Sales of newly constructed single-family homes fell to an annual rate of five hundred eighty thousand units—down seven point three percent from April's revised figure of six hundred twenty-six thousand. The decline came with a margin of error of plus or minus thirteen point three percent.
