ICE agents used racial slurs during Los Angeles crackdown, court files show

The Guardian reports that court files show ICE agents deployed to Los Angeles last summer used racial and anti-immigrant slurs when referring to people targeted in immigration enforcement. In one example from July fourth, twenty twenty-five, an agent wrote in a text chain an anti-immigrant slur — language the US Border Patrol has previously warned against. The files are part of a lawsuit against the agents.
