Organic eggs have worse impact on climate than eggs from caged chickens

The Guardian reports that if the UK switched entirely to free-range production, greenhouse gas emissions would roughly double—reaching approximately two point three million tonnes of CO2 compared to approximately one point two million tonnes from caged systems.
